Peterpings Rebrands as Pitchpigeon - Now Works With Web Apps

Posted by Jon Yongfook — 07 Feb 2013

Big news here at Peterpings... I mean Pitchpigeon!

We've renamed ourselves. Product naming is an important art and a difficult balancing act - you have to find that magical combination of a name that conveys meaning, is memorable, is self-explanatory to spell and is available to buy.

If you're not 100% happy with your startup's name, brainstorm a new one. It won't hurt. And it's a lot easier to rebrand early on than down the road.

That's why we pulled the trigger on our new name - the team loves it and we are all 100% behind it going forward!

Pitchpigeon's Mission

Our mission at Pitchpigeon is to help startups get covered in the media.

The first step towards that is helping you scale your efforts - startups can quickly and easily pitch to over 200 tech blogs and tech news websites using our platform.

The second step is helping you refine your pitch towards specific journalists. We know that scale alone doesn't always achieve results. You need personalization too. We'll be announcing more features to address this down the road.

Pitchpigeon for Web Apps

Previously Pitchpigeon was aimed at mobile app developers and only supported iOS and Android apps. We are now very happy to announce that you can use Pitchpigeon for any app, whether it's a Web app, an iOS app or an Android app. Our new mission is that we want to help every startup deliver their pitch, whether they are a web-based app or a mobile app.

You'll be amazed at how easy it is to compose and send a pitch to our list of publishers! Sign Up Now.

Pitchpigeon is ready to deliver your pitches!
